SSU detains FSB agent preparing missile strikes on AFU oil depots and airfields
The SSU has detained another enemy agent operating in the north of Ukraine.
The traitor was preparing missile attacks on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and fuel and energy facilities in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
The aggressor’s targets included military airfields and air defence units, as well as oil refineries, fuel depots and key energy generating facilities.
To identify their coordinates, the spy drove around the area and secretly recorded the locations on his phone camera.
He passed the data to a serving officer of the FSB’s moscow and moscow region office.
The SSU documented every step of the perpetrator’s criminal actions and detained him when he was conducting reconnaissance near a location of Ukrainian troops in Kyiv oblast.
Action was taken to protect Ukraine’s strategic facilities.
The man came to the attention of the aggressor through anti-Ukrainian comments he posted on pro-kremlin Telegram channels.
Based on the collected evidence, the SSU served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment.
The operation was conducted by the SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office.
