SSU detains enemy agent who guided russian missiles at Zhytomyr region
The SSU has detained another agent of russian intelligence who was adjusting missile and drone strikes on Zhytomyr oblast.
The aggressor’s targets were combat units and the Defence Forces’ logistics depots.
To carry out the enemy’s assignments, the spotter walked around the city and its surroundings, trying to identify the sites where Ukrainian defenders were concentrated.
During her reconnaissance sorties, the agent recorded the ‘addresses’ near which military equipment was periodically located.
The SSU documented the woman’s contacts with the occupiers and took action to protect the locations of the Defence Forces.
As a result of the operation, the SSU detained the perpetrator in her home.
The investigators seized a mobile phone with evidence of her contacts with the invaders.
The investigation established that the enemy accomplice was a local resident, an ideological supporter of ruscism.
The SSU has notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment.
The operation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
