SSU detains FSB agent group preparing russia’s missile attack on F-16 airfields (video)

The SSU Military Counterintelligence has dismantled an agent group of russia’s federal security service that was ‘hunting’ for fighter aircraft and combat helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the special operation, two enemy agents were detained red-handed near one of the military airfields of Ukraine as they were photographing the take-off of an F-16.

According to the investigation, the aggressor’s accomplices are two residents of Kremenchuk aged 22 and 21. They were recruited by an FSB officer, a woman, who has been identified by the SSU.

The agents’ task was to collect the exact coordinates of Ukraine’s main and reserve airfields and aviation infrastructure facilities so that russia could launch missile and drone strikes against them.

In addition to the geolocations, they had to make a text and photo report describing what kind of equipment was located at each of the targets.

To do this, the agents were going to travel around 5 regions of Ukraine by minibuses. They planned to rent accommodation near each of the potential sites to spy and film the target for several days.

The SSU uncovered both traitors at an early stage, documented their fruitless visits to several oblasts and detained them while they were taking pictures of F-16 fighter jets.

Action was taken to protect the locations of the Defence Forces.

During the detention, mobile phones with evidence of working for the enemy were seized from the perpetrators.

SSU investigators served the detainees notices of suspicion under Articles 28.2, 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed by a group, under martial law).

The suspects are in custody without bail and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out under the procedural supervision of Poltava Region Prosecutor’s Office.
