SSU detains collaborator working for occupation ‘ministry of transport of the russian federation’ after seizure of Kherson
The SSU exposed another collaborator who voluntarily cooperated with russia during the occupation of the right-bank part of Kherson region.
The suspect was the head of a local passenger transportation company. After the seizure of the regional center, he supported the invaders and offered them to ‘integrate’ his business in the interests of russia.
For that purpose, the traitor ‘registered’ his company in the local occupation administration and received ‘authorization’ to provide intercity transport services.
In return, the offender regularly paid taxes and fees to the budget of the aggressor country.
He intended to expand his ‘business’ to other temporarily occupied regions in eastern and southern Ukraine, including Crimea.
After the liberation of Kherson, the collaborator fled to the city of Kryvyi Rih as an internally displaced person. There he planned to avoid prosecution and open a new trucking company.
However, SSU officers disrupted his ‘plans. Law enforcers established the whereabouts of the enemy accomplice and detained him at home.
The detainee has been served a notice of suspicion under Part 1 Art. 111-2 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state). He is in custody facing up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The investigation is ongoing.
The SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk region carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
