SSU detains Poltava ex-mayor’s daughter who worked for putin’s party ‘campaign office’

In Kyiv, the SSU detained a traitor who collaborated with russia during the russian elections in 2022 and 2023.

The perpetrator is a 36-year-old daughter of the former Poltava mayor, who was convicted of corruption.

According to the investigation, the woman owns an advertising agency in St. Petersburg that participated in the PR campaign of the pro-putin united russia party.

On the eve of the ‘single voting day’, she ordered to use hundreds of her company’s advertising stands and billboards to spread pro-kremlin propaganda.

Living in Kyiv, the collaborator remotely managed the advertising business in russia and received millions in dividends from it.

During the cooperation with the kremlin party’s ‘election staff’, she received a profit of over RUB 35 mln.

During the searches at the suspect’s home and at Kyiv offices, the SSU found computer equipment, mobile phones and financial records confirming her cooperation with russia.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111-1.6 of the CCU (collaboration).

Following the SSU’s investigation, all the suspect’s property, worth UAH 270 mln (USD 6.6 mln), has been seized.

The arrested assets include 3 apartments in Kyiv, a minivan and shares in the charter capital of two Ukrainian companies.

The suspect is in custody and faces up to 12 years in prison.

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
