SSU detains daughter of former Chornobaivka gauleiter
In Vinnytsia oblast, the SSU detained another enemy accomplice.
The offender is a 30-year-old daughter of former Chornobaivka gauleiter Yuriy Turulyov, whom the SSU previously declared suspect.
When Chornobaivka was captured, the woman was one of the first to support the russian invaders and voluntarily joined the local occupation administration.
Under the patronage of her father, collaborator Turulyov, she was appointed chief of ‘unit’ and began to introduce russian educational ‘standards’ in the occupied community.
The ‘chief of unit’ was forcing local teachers to join in the russification of village educational institutions and to transfer to payments in russian rubles.
In addition, she organized and personally participated in numerous propaganda campaigns of the aggressor state in the occupied part of Kherson region.
Investigators documented that in late July 2022, the collaborator had been a delegate at a pro-kremlin forum called ‘we’re together with russia’.
The forum participants endorsed the so-called ‘declaration of the region’s development’, which was actually a plan to integrate southern Ukraine into russian economy.
After the liberation of the right-bank part of Kherson oblast, the enemy accomplice moved to Vinnytsia region. She was hiding there posing as an IDP.
Based on the collected evidence, the SSU served the woman a notice of suspicion under Article 111-2.1 of the CCU (aiding the occupation administration of the aggressor state).
The court chose custody as a measure of restraint. The investigation is ongoing.
The suspect is facing up to 12 years in prison.
The SSU Office in Vinnytsia region is conducting the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
