SBU detains “LNR” ex-official
The SBU detained a former “LNR” official. She was the head of the so-called Department of Culture, Youth and Sports in the city of Dovzhansk, which is temporarily occupied by terrorists. The SBU is going to serve a suspicion notice to the detainee.
Law enforcement detained the offender while crossing the Ukrainian state border at the Milove checkpoint. She left the occupied Luhansk region and went to Russia. Thereafter, the woman entered Ukraine to change her last name and intended to stay there.
SBU officers documented that the woman was the head of the occupation administration department in 2015-2019. She actively promoted pro-Russian propaganda and organized agitation events.
Since 2015, the "official" is wanted for creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization.
Under the supervision of Luhansk region Prosecutor's Office, urgent investigative and operational actions are underway to serve the detainee a suspicion notice of encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.
