In the course of stabilization measures in the liberated districts of Kharkiv region, the SSU Counterintelligence exposed another enemy accomplice.

The offender is the former head of one of the departments of Kupiansk town council, who supported russian invaders at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

After the town was captured by the enemy, the woman joined the occupation administration and was appointed ‘chief specialist of the economic development unit’.

In this ‘position’, the collaborator carried out moscow’s instructions to support kremlin regime in the region and ensure uninterrupted financing of russian occupation authorities.

For this purpose, she distributed funds among the enemy units and prepared payment documents and financial reporting of the russian standard.

After Kupiansk’s liberation, the collaborator tried to hide.

As a result of an operation, the SSU detained the suspect.

SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111-1.2 of the CCU (collaboration).

Court is to decide on the measure of restraint.

When the woman was served the notice of suspicion, she pleaded guilty and said that she had committed the criminal acts under the influence of russian propaganda.

The SSU Counterintelligence exposed the enemy accomplice in cooperation with the National Police investigators under the procedural supervision of Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office.
