In the frontline areas of Donetsk oblast, the SSU exposed another aggressor’s informant.

The spy was tracking the movement of the AFU units on Sloviansk and Kramatorsk directions. The collected data were passed to the FSB via a messenger app.

The invaders needed the intelligence to prepare massive air strikes on the Defence Forces’ bases and the routes of military convoys.

The SSU detained the woman in Kramatorsk district on her attempt to transmit classified information to occupiers. Investigators seized her mobile phone, which was used to communicate with the FSB.

According to the investigation, the detained enemy agent is a 49-year-old local. In December 2022, she was recruited by an officer of the enemy special service.

The woman came to the aggressor’s attention because of her repeated anti-Ukrainian statements on the banned social network Odnoklassniki.

Based on the evidence collected, SSU investigators served her a notice of suspicion.

The suspect is currently in custody. The investigation is underway.
