The SSU Counterintelligence prevented infiltration of local government authorities in Ukraine’s border regions by enemy accomplices.

As a result of operational and investigative activities, the SSU detained two former ‘officials’ of the ‘LNR pension fund’ established by ruscists in the captured Svatove and Bilokurakyne districts, Luhansk region.

The collaborators came to Ukraine-controlled territory, having received statuses of IDPs from eastern Ukraine.

Concealing his cooperation with the enemy, one of them tried to get a job in a regional branch of the Pension Fund.

The other collaborator planned to join a financial department of a district military administration near the border with russia.
