SSU detains collaborator who "exposed" Ukrainian patriots refusing to "vote" in pseudo-elections during Kherson occupation

The SSU identified and detained another enemy accomplice who participated in the organization of russia’s sham referendum during the occupation of Kherson.

In addition, the suspect "exposed" to the ruscists local residents who resisted the invaders and opposed the fake plebiscite of the kremlin.

According to the investigation, the offender is a 59-year-old parking lot worker who, after the seizure of the city, voluntarily joined the occupation "election committee" of the Korabelnyi district.

As a member of the pseudo-institution, the collaborator visited residents of Kherson with "ballots" and urged them to "vote for the accession" of the regional center to russia.

During such "raids", armed invaders who threatened people with assault rifles and imprisonment if they refused to participate in the fake referendum accompanied her.

One of the victims was a head of the association of co-owners of an apartment building in which the collaborator lived.

Following a traitor’s "tip-off", the ruscists kidnapped a woman who refused to "vote" in favor of the aggressor country and took her to a russian torture chamber.

For cooperation with the invaders, the collaborator received a russian passport and was allowed to move freely around the city.

After Kherson was liberated, the suspect fled to Mykolaiv, where she obtained the status of an internally displaced person, and thus tried to avoid justice.

However, SSU officers established the offender's whereabouts and detained her.

During searches at the suspect's homes in Kherson and Mykolaiv, two mobile phones with evidence of cooperation with the aggressor and russian propaganda materials were seized.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Art. 28.2, 111-1.5 of the CCU (collaboration committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).

The offender is currently in custody, facing up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The SSU Office in Crimea and Kherson region carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of Kherson Region Prosecutor’s Office.
