SSU detains enemy agent who adjusted russian missile attack on school in Kramatorsk

The SSU has detained an aggressor’s informant who collected intelligence on location of the Defence Forces and adjusted russian strikes on social institutions in Donetsk oblast.

The SSU established that occupiers had used his ‘information’ to launch missiles on a school in Kramatorsk on March 5, 2023.

The agent also reconnoitered combat positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the frontline.

His handlers were particularly interested in coordinates of emplacements of long-range foreign weapons of Ukrainian troops.

The SSU Counterintelligence detained the agent when he was conducting reconnaissance for the enemy.

According to the investigation, the offender is an employee of a plant in Kramatorsk.

In early March this year, russian intelligence remotely engaged the man in covert cooperation.

He sent the collected intelligence to a ‘liaison’.

During the searches, the SSU found the suspect’s mobile phone, which he used to transmit data to the aggressor.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators notified the enemy accomplice of suspicion of committing a crime.

The court chose custody as a measure of restraint. The investigation is ongoing.

The SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
