The SBU detained a deputy head of a department of Kyivvodokanal on taking a bribe.

The operatives established that the official demanded USD 38,200 from a company representative. For this amount, he approved outdoor advertising on the sites served by Kyivvodokanal.

Previously, the SBU documented the offender take USD 9,100 of advance pay.

The law enforcement detained the official in his office while receiving the next part of the bribe in the amount of USD 14,700.

The issue of serving the perpetrator a notice of suspicion of taking a bribe is being settled. A type of detention is being chosen.

The investigation is ongoing.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Kyiv Local Prosecutor's Office No.5 with the assistance of the management of Kyivvodokanal.
