SSU detains collaborators in Kharkiv oblast who helped send russian military echelons to Ukraine

In the course of stabilization efforts in the liberated districts of Kharkiv region, the SSU exposed another two enemy accomplices.

The offenders are former employees of Ukrzaliznytsia regional branch, who supported occupiers at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

After part of the region was captured, they joined the ranks of the local occupation administration.

There, one of them was appointed the chief and the other - his deputy for the production unit of the ‘Kupyansk track machine station’ established by the aggressor.

In these ‘positions’, they helped russia to restore railway communication with the area for the needs of the occupation forces on the eastern front.

The collaborators facilitated the transportation of military equipment, weapons and ammunition by rail from russia to the temporarily occupied areas of Kharkiv region.

After the liberation of the area, the offenders tried to ‘lie low’ and hide from prosecution.

However, the SSU detained them.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators served both offenders notices of suspicion under the Article 111-1.4 of the CCU (collaboration).

Court chose custody as a measure of restraint.

The SSU Office in Kharkiv region exposed the perpetrators under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
