SSU detains enemy accomplice in Mykolaiv region

The SSU exposed another enemy accomplice who cooperated with invaders during the temporary occupation of a part of Mykolaiv region.

The offender is a local resident of a village in Shevchenkove territorial community, who voluntarily took the post of ‘starosta’ in two settlements and acted as an intermediary between occupiers and locals.

At this ‘post’, the man helped the aggressor in strengthening their positions and handed over property stolen from locals to the russian occupation groups on the southern front.

According to the investigation, the traitor supported the occupiers form the very beginning of the full-scale invasion and even established contact with one of the leaders of ruscist groups.

The collaborator personally handed over transport spare parts to the invaders to repair enemy military equipment and helped equip barracks.

He also organized supply of drinking water and food to the enemy troops.

After the liberation of the area, the criminal tried to ‘lie low’ and avoid justice.

However, the SSU identified and detained him.

SSU investigators served the offender a notice of suspicion under the Article 111-2.1 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state).

Court chose custody as a measure of restraint.

The SSU Office in Mykolaiv Region exposed the offender under the procedural supervision of Mykolaiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
