As a result of counter-sabotage efforts in the border areas of Sumy region, the SSU exposed another FSB informant.
According to SSU Counterintelligence, the offender is a russian citizen who moved to Ukraine in 2019 and settled in Sumy region.
He later received a permanent residence permit in Ukraine.
On the eve of the full-scale invasion, the man was contacted by an officer of the FSB Office in Belgorod region and was offered covert cooperation for the benefit of the aggressor state.
After February 24, 2022, instructed by the russian special service, the agent began collecting information on deployment of the Defence Forces in the oblast.
