SSU detains one of chiefs of former occupation administration in Izium district
As a result of stabilization measures in the liberated districts of Kharkiv region, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.
The offender is the former chief of ‘Savyntsy territorial unit of Izium civil and military administration’ established by occupiers.
One of the woman’s task was to collect passport data of locals and hand the information over to the occupation administration.
The enemy used the obtained personal data to falsify the ‘results’ of the fake referendum.
After the liberation of Kharkiv region, the collaborator tried to hide in Izium district, but the SSU timely exposed and detained her.
According to the investigation, the suspect is a local resident who, after part of the region was captured, supported the invaders and voluntarily joined the occupation authorities.
While working for the occupiers, she was actively looking for ‘like-minded people’, trying to engage them in cooperation with the aggressor. The collaborator offered ‘positions’, russian salaries and ruscists’ loyalty.
SSU investigators have notified the detainee of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.5 of the CCU).
Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint for the suspect.
The SSU Office in Kharkiv region exposed the offender jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of Izium District Prosecutor’s Office.
