SSU detains ‘assistant’ of russian gauleiter who helped ruscists kidnap Ukrainians during Kharkiv battle

In Kharkiv region, the SSU and the National Police have detained another enemy accomplice who had been hiding from justice for a long time.

The perpetrator is a 46-year-old resident of the village of Kozacha Lopan, who became an ‘assistant’ to the local gauleiter during the occupation of this settlement.

In this ‘position’, he participated in abductions of residents of the community and stealing their private property.

To do this, the man led the occupiers to the homes of Ukrainian patriots and their relatives.

Primarily, he betrayed families of former military servicemen and law enforcement officials.

The ruscists broke into victims’ homes and, threatening them with execution, took them to a russian torture chamber.

During such ‘raids’, the invaders, together with the traitor, looted the homes and sent most of the loot, especially computers and household appliances, to russia.

After the liberation of the region, the enemy accomplice remained in the village, trying to lay low and not leaving his house.

Based on the evidence collected, the detainee has been served a notice of suspicion under Article 111-2.1 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state).

The suspect is in custody and faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kharkiv region jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of Kharkiv District Prosecutor’s Office.
