Kyiv city: SBU detains G.U. contract worker
The Security Service of Ukraine detained in Kyiv city a citizen K., who during 2014-2020 acted as one of the "curators" of the leaders of the so-called DNR through the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (Russian G.U.).
In particular, he, being a part-time servant of Russian special services, was involved in the establishment of the so-called DNR Intelligence Department and other units of this terrorist organization.
The detained Ukrainian citizen was charged with the crime under Part 1 Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Soon he will be served a suspicion notice.
The SBU found records of K.’s telephone conversations revealing details of interdepartmental wars between the G.U. and the FSB to control the "leaders" of the DNR terrorist organization.
The suspects mentioned the names of FSB director Oleksandr Bortnikov and his deputies Andrii Burlaka and Serhii Smirnov, Russian presidential aide Vladyslav Surkov, DNR leaders Oleksandr Zakharchenko, Oleksandr Borodai and others.
Another important part of the published recordings is K.'s conversations with G.U. Major General Serhii Dubinskyi (call sign Khmuryi) and Leonid Kharchenko (call sign Krot), who are internationally wanted in the case of MH17 flight shot down in July 2014.
