The SSU detained an FSB agent in the suburbs of Kharkiv. He turned out to be a local resident who was recruited by the enemy special services via the Internet.

Following the instructions of his supervisor, the man recorded the location of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations in the region. The invaders were interested in the coordinates of checkpoints and military fortifications, among other things.

The SSU special purpose unit detained the traitor while he was on his way to fulfill another assignment of the aggressor.

The SSU investigators have informed the detainee of suspicion of a crime under Article 114-2 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

The agent is facing up to 12 years in prison.
