SSU detains Russian informants in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Poltava and exposes fraudsters who stole funds from volunteers (video)

The SSU continues to work for Ukraine’s victory eliminating sabotage and reconnaissance groups, detaining artillery spotters and Russian propagandists. Some of the SSU operations on March 17, 2022, are described below.

In Luhansk region:

In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, the Russian military, explaining this as ‘mobilization’, seize men on the streets and send them to war against Ukraine. This military ‘contingent’ is either massively killed in battles with Ukrainian Armed Forces or surrender.

In particular, two residents of temporarily occupied Holubivka (formerly Kirovsk) were captured by Ukrainian military in combat near Severodonetsk.

They were ‘mobilized’ on their way home from work the day before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The ‘training’ lasted only 4 days. Next, a 50-kilometer march to Trokhizbenka, during which two hundred of the freshly ‘mobilized’ died of diseases. In their first battle, this ‘LNR army’ was defeated. Survivors were those who laid down their weapons and surrendered.

They are currently testifying to the SSU investigators.

In Dnipropetrovsk region:

The SSU exposed criminals who defrauded volunteer organizations out of money collected for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Four residents of Kamyanske looked on social media for accounts raising money for the military. They posed as operators of a well-known bank and offered the owners of these accounts to speed up the transfers from foreigners.

Then, through a fraudulent scheme, they transferred money from volunteers’ accounts to cards of fictitious persons, converted the funds into cash and appropriated them.

The procedure of returning the stolen funds is underway, while the criminals will definitely be brought to justice.

In Kyiv, Poltava and Kharkiv:

In Kharkiv, the SSU detained a native of Bryansk region, Russia, who in early March received a task from the enemy. The traitor was interested in the exact location of combat units and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region, as well as the results of shelling of residential neighbourhoods and infrastructure.

Using a specially created Telegram channel, a resident of Kyiv sent information to the enemy on the situation in the capital: location of military bases, deployment of units and military equipment of Ukrainian Armed Forces. He was detained by the SSU.

In Poltava, the SSU apprehended another occupiers’ accomplice, who was recruited by an FSB official. His task was to gather information about the location and activities of officers of the State Border Guard Service at Milove checkpoint in Luhansk region.

In Odesa and Zaporizhzhia:

The SSU exposed the enemy’s agitator in Odesa. Through her posts on social media, she discredited the Armed Forces of Ukraine, promoted Russia’s policy and war against Ukraine, and spread fakes.

In Zaporizhzhia, the SSU apprehended two propagandists who were spreading separatist narratives and ideas of RuZZkiy Mir on the Internet.

All of them have been detained and will be brought to justice!

Glory to Ukraine!
