SSU detains another three collaborators including former court official and occupation ‘school principal’
The SSU has detained another three collaborators who cooperated with russia at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
One of the suspects is a former court administrator. After the seizure of Izium, he joined the local ‘police unit of the russian ministry of internal affairs’.
There, he was appointed ‘assistant to operational duty officer’ of the occupation authority.
In this ‘position’, the collaborator guarded the building of the ruscist repressive unit and helped them collect information on local residents, including members of the resistance movement.
After the community was liberated, the traitor fled to Dnipropetrovsk region, where ‘laid low’ in a rented apartment. The SSU found and detained him.
Another collaborator was detained in Lviv region. This is a former ‘director’ of a school in the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk oblast.
The woman lived in Antratsyt and after the town was seized began to cooperate with the enemy.
The ‘principal’ introduced the ‘educational standards’ of the aggressor state in the Ukrainian school and was forcing teachers to cooperate with the invaders.
Later, she decided to visit her daughter in Kyiv and tried to come to Ukraine through russia and the EU.
The SSU detained the suspect on her attempt to cross the state border through Uhryniv checkpoint in Lviv region.
Another supporter of the kremlin regime is a resident of Kherson region. After the seizure of Beryslav district, she joined the occupation ‘election commission’.
During the sham referendum, the woman called locals to ‘vote for the region’s accession’ to russia.
After the liberation of the region’s right bank, the collaborator went to her relatives in Kherson, trying to hide and evade justice. However, the SSU found and apprehended her.
SSU investigators notified the detainees of suspicion under Article 111-1 of the CCU (collaboration).
The investigations are ongoing. The suspects face 3 to 15 years in prison.
The operations were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kharkiv, Lviv and Kherson regions under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor’s offices.
