SSU detains another two collaborators who helped ruscists in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions
As a result of stabilization efforts in the liberated districts of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, the SSU exposed another two enemy accomplices.
One of the detainees is a resident of Izyum district, who, after the seizure of a part of the oblast, supported russian invaders and offered them his assistance in the war against Ukraine.
The offender voluntarily participated in construction of enemy checkpoints and repaired the occupiers’ armoured vehicles.
He also helped to ‘quarter’ ruscists in the homes of locals who had fled to other regions of Ukraine.
After the liberation of the area, the collaborator tried to hide from justice in Kharkiv region.
However, the SSU found and detained him.
Another accomplice of the aggressor is a resident of Lyman, who agreed to head the so-called ‘unit of personalized accounting of the DNR’s department of labour and social protection’ during the occupation of the town.
In this ‘position’, the collaborator offered local population to receive benefits in russian rubles, compiled lists of persons receiving such benefits and formed a database for the occupiers.
During the de-occupation of Lyman, the woman fled to Vinnytsia region, where tried to lie low and hide from justice.
The SSU tracked her down and detained the suspect at her temporary home.
SSU investigators served both detained individuals a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.4, 111-1.5 of the CCU).
The suspects are currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
The SSU Offices in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions conducted the operations and investigations under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
