The agent, detained by the SSU, passed to the enemy the exact coordinates of Ukrainian military positions, location of military equipment and routes of their movement in the area.

The traitor, on his own initiative, sent the intelligence through messenger apps and groups in social networks administered by russian special services.

The occupiers used his data on several occasions to fire from artillery and launch missiles at the city.

During the search, investigators seized communication devices with evidence of the informant’s unlawful activity.

The detainee has been notified of suspicion of crime under Article 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on movement of weapons and ammunition, movement, transfer or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

The SSU carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of Mykolaiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.

The SSU will continue to make every effort to identify and bring to justice every traitor and collaborator. Punishment for treason and collaboration with the enemy is inevitable.
