Kharkiv region: SSU detains another enemy accomplice, who helped occupiers take Ukrainian grain to russia
In the liberated districts of Kharkiv region, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.
The offender is a former chief engineer of Kupiansk Bread Products Plant, who supported russian invaders when they captured part of the region.
To show his loyalty to the aggressor state, the man forcibly took seals, stamps, statutory documents and employees’ personal files from the chief accountant of the enterprise.
Then, he handed them over to the local occupation administration.
For this, the engineer was appointed the head of the ‘state enterprise Food Resources’ created by ruscists in Kupiansk.
In this ‘position’, the individual carried out the kremlin’s instructions to steal Ukrainian grain and bring it to russia.
To do this, he concluded an ‘agreement’ with another occupation authority – ‘Kupiansk Railway’, which provided him with wagons for transporting wheat.
According to the investigation, wholesale consignments of stolen grain were to be delivered to grain terminals of a russian company in Rostov-on-Don.
However, the implementation of the criminal plan was prevented by the Defence Forces, which liberated Kupiansk and thus blocked the ‘shipment’.
After Kupiansk’s liberation, the collaborator tried to hide from justice, but the SSU detained him.
Based on the collected evidence, the SSU served the detainee a notice of suspicion under the Article 111-2.1 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state).
Court chose custody as a measure of restraint.
The SSU Office in Kharkiv region carried out the operation and investigative activities jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of Kharkiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
