SSU detains and serves suspicion notice to lyceum director who implemented russian educational standards in Kharkiv region
The SSU detained the head of an educational institution on the territory of Velykyi Burluk village council of Kharkiv region, which was occupied by russian troops from February to early September 2022.
According to the investigation, since late July the lyceum director had been introducing educational standards of the aggressor state at the institution, following the instructions to do so from the so-called ‘head’ of Velykyi Burluk occupation administration.
The director informed her subordinate teachers that in the new academic year the educational process in the lyceum would be carried out in russian, according to the russian curriculum and russian-published textbooks. The russian handbooks had been brought to the lyceum at the beginning of the school year.
SSU investigators notified the director of suspicion of crime under Article 111-1.3 of the CCU (collaboration in the form of implementation of education standards of the aggressor state at educational institutions).
In this case, in addition to punishment in the form of correctional labour, arrest or imprisonment, the guilty person may be subject to additional penalty - deprivation of right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of 10 to 15 years.
The SSU Office in Kharkiv region exposed the collaborator under the procedural supervision of Kharkiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
