SSU detains collaborator in Kherson, who guarded ruscists’ administrative buildings during occupation (video)
As a result of stabilization measures in liberated Kherson, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.
The offender is a resident of Kherson, who during the occupation supported russian invaders and offered them his assistance in the war against Ukraine.
The man was offered a ‘position’ in the ‘directorate of the interior ministry in Kherson’ established by the aggressor.
There, he voluntarily agreed to join russia’s ‘separate patrol service battalion.’
After appointment, he received weapons and russian uniform.
The collaborator’s main task was protection of the captured administrative buildings with ruscist occupation authorities.
He also participated in punitive raids against members of the resistance movement.
During such ‘raids’, he carried out illegal detentions of Ukrainian patriots and delivered them to russian torture chambers.
After Kherson’s liberation, the criminal wanted to ‘get lost’ in the city and avoid prosecution.
However, the SSU detained him. The collaborator was found to have a ‘certificate’ of the fake authorities and other evidence of criminal activity.
Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under the Article 111-1.7 of the CCU (voluntary holding by a citizen of Ukraine of a position in illegal law enforcement bodies created in the temporarily occupied territory).
Court chose custody as a measure of restraint for the suspect.
The crime is punishable by up to 15 years of imprisonment.
The SSU Kherson Office carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
