SSU detains collaborator who took part in russia’s forced ‘passportization’ during Kherson’s occupation
The SSU detained another enemy accomplice who voluntarily cooperated with the enemy during the occupation of Kherson.
The suspect is a resident of the city, who used to work in the regional unit of the State Migration Service.
After Kherson was occupied, the woman supported the invaders and was ‘appointed’ to russia’s local occupation administration.
There, she became a ‘specialist of passport and visa service’, which was part of the occupation ‘interior ministry in Kherson region’.
In this ‘position’, the collaborator carried out the kremlin’s instructions to force local population to obtain russian passports.
To do this, she issued so-called ‘address certificates’ to citizens, which were the basis for obtaining russian citizenship.
The offender also rewrote passport documentation of the residents according to the russian ‘model’.
After Kherson’s liberation, the traitor hoped to ‘sit out’ in her home and evade justice.
However, she was detained. SSU investigators have now served her a notice of suspicion under Article 111-1.7 of the CCU (voluntary holding of a position by a citizen of Ukraine in unlawful law enforcement agencies established in the temporarily occupied territory).
The suspect is in custody, facing up to 15 years in prison.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
