SSU detains former chief of russian railway branch in Kherson, who helped russia bring military echelons to Ukraine

In the course of stabilization measures in liberated Kherson, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.

The offender is a former official of a railway transport enterprise, who joined the local occupation administration after Kherson was captured.

There, the woman headed the ‘industrial railway transport enterprise Kherson Railway’ established by the aggressor.

In this ‘position’, she helped the enemy to establish railway communication with the Ukrainian city for the occupation groups on the southern front.

The ‘official’ facilitated the transportation of military equipment, weapons and ammunition from russia to the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.

She organized the looting of technological equipment of the rolling stock of Ukrainian railway and its transfer to the aggressor state.

The collaborator also personally urged locals to support russian invaders and join the occupation institution.

For this, she promised support from ruscists and ‘salaries’ in russian rubles.

After Kherson’s liberation, the SSU detained the traitor and served her a notice of suspicion under the Article 111-2.1 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state). Court chose custody as a measure of restraint.

The SSU Main Directorate for Counterintelligence Support of Critical Infrastructure and Countering Terrorism Financing and the SSU Main Investigation Directorate exposed and documented the unlawful activity under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
