SSU detains enemy accomplice in Kherson, who helped fsb escape on boats to left bank of Dnipro

During stabilization measures in the liberated Kherson, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.

The traitor is the owner of a local pleasure boat station, who helped invaders escape from Ukrainian counter-offensive.

To do this, the individual voluntarily handed over to the aggressor 6 boats, each with 30 passenger seats.

These boats were used to ‘evacuate’ fsb officers and several other units of russian occupation groups to the left bank of the Dnipro.

In addition, the enemy used the watercraft for deportation of some local residents to the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson region.

According to the investigation, before the large-scale invasion, the man organized sea excursions near Zaliznyi Port.

During the temporary occupation, he ‘re-registered’ his business in favor of the aggressor state and concluded a corresponding ‘agreement’ with the invaders’ administration.

After Kherson’s liberation, the offender tried to hide in the city. However, the SSU located and detained him.

SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111-2.1 of the CCU.

Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint.

The crime is punishable by up to 12 years of imprisonment.

The SSU Office in Kherson region exposed the offender under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor’s office.
