SSU detains collaborator who supplied ruscists with building materials for ‘dragon teeth’ production

In Kyiv, the SSU detained a collaborator who supplied russia with construction materials for fortifications in the temporarily occupied southern regions of Ukraine.

The perpetrator owns several businesses in Berdiansk. After the city was captured, he began to collaborate with the enemy.

According to the investigation, the entrepreneur supplied russian companies with sand, crushed stone and cement for building the fortifications on the southern front. Mainly, these were anti-tank reinforced concrete structures or ‘dragon’s teeth’.

Subsequently, the collaborator moved to Kyiv, from where he continued to run the illegal business in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia oblast.

To do this, he left his entire management team there and established a remote communication with them.

It was on his instructions that his subordinates in Berdiansk ‘re-registered’ his local enterprises under russian ‘laws’.

After that, they regularly replenished the russian budget by paying ‘taxes’.

During the search of the suspect’s home in Kyiv, the SSU found documents and other material evidence of the crime.

The detainee has been served a notice of suspicion under Article 111-1.4 of the CCU (conducting economic activity in cooperation with the aggressor state, illegal authorities established in the temporarily occupied territory, including the occupation administration of the aggressor state).

The suspect is in custody.

The operation was carried out under the procedural supervision of Kyiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
