SSU detains two collaborators who were hiding from justice in Kyiv and Odesa

The SSU has exposed another two supporters of ruscism who voluntarily collaborated with the enemy after part of southern Ukraine was temporarily seized.

One of the detained suspects is the former chief of unit at ‘Kherson oblast water resources basin administration’ established by the aggressor.

In this ‘position’, the woman participated in organizing water supply for russian occupation groupings.

To do this, she recruited staff for the ‘unit’ and called on locals to join the fake institution.

Before Kherson’s liberation, the collaborator fled to Kyiv, where she planned to ‘get lost’ and evade justice.

However, the SSU found and apprehended the suspect.

Another enemy accomplice is a resident of Kherson, who during the occupation joined the ‘regional pension fund’ created by the invaders.

The collaborator was involved in executing moscow’s orders to introduce the ‘ruble zone’ in the region.

The ‘official’ forced elderly people to receive pensions in russian currency.

After Kherson’s liberation, the woman fled to Odesa, where she was detained by the SSU Counterintelligence.

During the searches at her temporary home, the SSU found cash in russian rubles, which the occupiers paid her as ‘salary’.

Both offenders have been served notices of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the CCU).

The court has already chosen custody as a measure of restraint for one of them.

The SSU Offices in Kherson and Odesa regions carried out the investigations under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
