SSU detains collaborator in Kyiv who tried to flee to EU after de-occupation of Kharkiv region

The SSU continues to systematically bring to justice traitors and collaborators who voluntarily cooperated with the enemy.

As a result of investigative and operational activity, former head of Kupiansk District State Administration, who supported the invaders during the occupation, was detained in Kyiv.

The enemy appointed the woman to the ranks of the local occupation body as ‘deputy head’ of Kurylivka community.

While in the ‘position’, the collaborator carried out the kremlin’s instructions to spread the occupation regime and involve locals in actions in favor of the aggressor state.

In addition, she participated in the preparation of the sham referendum in the occupied territories of Kharkiv region.

After the region’s liberation, the offender fled to Kyiv, where tried to register as an IDP from the east of Ukraine and then go to the EU.

However, she failed – the SSU located and detained the traitor.

SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under the Article 111-1.5 of the CCU (collaboration).

Court chose custody as a measure of restraint.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Counterintelligence jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office.
