Odesa: SSU detains criminal who aimed russian missiles at SSU and Prosecutor's Office facilities as revenge for conviction (video)
The SSU has detained another FSB agent who was preparing a new series of missile and drone attacks on Odesa.
The coordinates that the spy passed to the ruscists included several SSU and Prosecutor's Office buildings.
In this way, the resident of Odesa wanted to punish law enforcement officers for the conviction he received in 2019 for publicly calling for changing the borders of Ukraine.
Then the court sentenced him to a suspended sentence, and the traitor was released from the pre-trial detention center.
Afterwards, he “laid low,” but in the spring of 2023, the defendant continued to spread anti-Ukrainian materials on social media.
As a result, the fsb noticed him and remotely recruited to adjust the fire on Odesa.
One of the first agent’s assignments was to establish and pass on the coordinates of an air defense missile system.
However, the SSU Main Department of Internal Security has disclosed the russian agent and documented all his actions.
Comprehensive measures have been taken to protect the locations of the Defense Forces, and the offender has been detained while passing intelligence to the aggressor.
According to the investigation, to collect intelligence, the agent walked around the city and its surroundings. There he recorded the possible locations of Ukrainian defenders.
The spy sent the gathered intelligence to the fsb via a popular messenger. To do this, he used two cell phones connected to a Wi-Fi network.
The traitor deleted all correspondence with fsb to keep it confidential.
For his cooperation with the occupiers, he received money on his bank card.
During the search of the detainee's home, three combat grenades and small arms rounds were seized.
SSU investigators have served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111-2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is in custody without the right to be released on bail and faces life imprisonment.
The operation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Odesa Region Prosecutor’s Office.
