SSU detains informant who ‘leaked’ data to russians on defence of industrial facilities in Odesa oblast

The SSU has detained another supporter of ruscism who passed information to the enemy on locations of the Defence Forces units and industrial facilities in Odesa region.

The offender is an employee of a local chemical plant.

According to the investigation, the man passed coordinates of critical infrastructure on the territory of the enterprise to his acquaintances, russian citizens.

He also ‘informed’ the aggressor state on bases and types of weapons of the Defence units protecting the industrial facility.

For communication, the informant used secure chats in one of the messenger apps.

The spy added his comments to some of the videos he sent, trying to discredit Ukrainian defenders.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators served the apprehended individual a notice of suspicion under Article 114-2.2 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on transfer, movement of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, transfer or deployment of the AFU or other lawful military formations).

The court chose custody as a measure of restraint for the suspect. The investigation is underway.

The SSU Office in Odesa region exposed the enemy informant under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
