SSU detains enemy informant who ‘hunted’ for AFU’s ammunition depots in Kharkiv oblast
In the course of stabilization efforts in the liberated territories of Kharkiv region, the SSU detained another enemy informant.
The offender, a woman, was collecting intelligence on locations and movements of the Defence Forces units in Kupiansk district.
The aggressor was primarily interested in the sites where military equipment, weapons and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are stored.
The enemy needed the intelligence to prepare missile strikes on Ukrainian targets.
According to the investigation, russian special services engaged the woman in covert cooperation through her husband, who is on the territory of the aggressor state.
To collect data, the informant walked to the area and secretly photographed military targets. She sent the intelligence to russia via messenger apps.
The detained woman has now been notified of suspicion. The court chose custody as a measure of restraint.
The investigation is ongoing. The suspect is facing up to 8 years in prison.
The SSU Office in Kharkiv region exposed the offender jointly with the National Police under the supervision of Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office.
