The SSU continues to clean up its own ranks: as a result of a multi-stage operation, the former acting chief of the Institute for Training of Juridical Personnel for the SSU of the National Yaroslav Mudryi Law University has been notified of suspicion of treason.

The court has decided to keep the detainee in custody.

A pre-trial investigation into treason (Article 111.1 of the CCU) is underway to establish all the circumstances of the offence and bring to justice all those involved.

The operation and investigation were carried out by the SSU Main Directorate for Internal Security and SSU investigators under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
