SSU detains ‘housing manager’ of former occupation administration in Mykolaiv region

In the course of stabilization measures in the liberated districts of Mykolaiv region, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.

The offender is a resident of Snihurivka who supported russian invaders at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

During the temporary occupation, the woman joined the enemy administration and was appointed chief of the ‘housing and utility services unit’.

While in the ‘position’, the collaborator was responsible for ‘accounting’ of the local housing stock, its technical and living conditions.

The ‘housing manager’ determined the suitability of buildings for the ‘cantonment’ of occupation forces.

The collaborator also controlled the cost estimates for restoration of infrastructure facilities that the enemy used to base its military units.

Among such sites were houses of locals who moved to Ukraine-controlled territory.

After the liberation of the area, the offender tried to ‘lie low’. However, she failed – the SSU located and detained her.

The detainee was notified of suspicion under the Article 111-1.5 of the CCU (collaboration).

Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint.

The crime is punishable by up to 10 years of imprisonment.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

The SSU Office in Mykolaiv Region exposed the enemy accomplice with the procedural supervision of Mykolaiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
