SSU detains traitor who sent intelligence on Kyiv defence to russian Telegram bot (video)

As a result of a special operation in Kyiv and Donetsk oblast, the SSU exposed another enemy accomplice.

The offender is a resident of the capital, who at the beginning of the full-scale invasion was collecting information for the enemy on locations of the Defence Forces in Kyiv.

To do this, the informant drove around the city and studied the situation near Ukrainian military facilities.

He sent the data to a Telegram chatbot controlled by russian intelligence.

Subsequently, trying to evade responsibility, the man enrolled to the unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed near Avdiivka.

However, the SSU exposed the spy in time, documented his criminal activity and detained him in one of the frontline towns.

During the searches, the SSU found the suspect’s mobile phone with evidence of passing classified information to the aggressor.

SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).

The suspect is in custody. The investigation is underway.

The SSU’s cyber units exposed the traitor under the procedural supervision of the Specialized Defence Prosecutor’s Office of the Central Region.
