Today, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with partner law enforcement agencies, is conducting a number of large-scale operational and investigative activities aimed at combating the internal enemy. According to the SSU Acting Head Vasyl Maliuk, the efforts are focused on identifying persons who harm state security in various areas: traitors and agents of russian special services; organized criminal groups; corrupt officials who undermine Ukraine’s economy and stable operation of the military-industrial complex, etc.

Today, within the opened criminal proceedings, we conduct dozens of searches in several regions of Ukraine and serve suspicion notices to the individuals involved.

‘We are fulfilling the task set by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, simultaneously delivering a massive strike to the internal enemy. Multiple searches, serving of suspicion notices and detention of offenders are clear indications of this. This is only the first stage of the comprehensive and systematic work that the SSU is doing. And we are not going to stop! Every criminal who has the audacity to harm Ukraine, especially in times of war, must clearly understand: we will handcuff them. The SSU will make every effort to do so,’ Vasyl Maliuk emphasized.

The SSU will inform the public on the results of the described activities today and in the coming days.
