According to Kremlin’s plans, the ‘Federal Republic of Ukraine’ had to include the following regions:

• Ivano-Frankivsk
• Zakarpattia
• Lviv
• Ternopil
• Chernivtsi

The logic behind creating this pseudo-formation was to destabilize the situation in the rear of Ukrainian Army.

The SSU detained the organizer and key members of the network in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

They were tasked to recruit over half a thousand traitors in Western and Central regions.

Armed separatists were to eliminate key security forces officers and government officials.

The further plan was to seize administrative buildings and proclaim ‘people’s republics’ similar to the so-called ‘L/DNR’ and then unite into them into a new state controlled by Russia.

The organizer’s accomplices testified against him, now he is under investigation.

Under Article 109 (actions aimed at forcible change or overthrow of constitutional order or take-over of state power) of the CCU, the traitor and his accomplices are facing 10 years in prison.
