Among those detained by the SSU are the head of a territorial community and ‘activated’ enemy agents, who had prepared ways to escape to the Crimea in case of ‘failure’.

In Zhytomyr region:

The SSU Military Counterintelligence exposed an official of a defence facility on gathering classified information about Ukrainian military aircraft and air force infrastructure.

He was, primarily, interested in secret information about the location, as well as about repair and restoration of combat capabilities of military aircraft.

He passed the data to the invaders through his brother and former groupmate, who cooperated with russian special services in russia.

In Dnipropetrovsk region:

The SSU detained an enemy agent, who was tasked by the FSB to join the ranks of Territorial Defense Forces of Dnipro. There, he was to collect data on the personnel and weapons of Ukrainian defenders.

In the future, according to the enemy’s instruction, the traitor had to arrive at the front line, where he planned to pass the information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the occupiers.

Another russian agent was detained in Kryvyi Rih. The enemy ‘activated’ him at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Following the russian supervisors’ instructions, he collected data on the defence of Mariupol.

He also photographed the defensive lines of Ukrainian forces in the direction of Kryvyi Rih.

Secure communication channels and a safe house in the temporarily occupied territory in Eastern Ukraine were used to hand over the intelligence to the occupiers.

In case of ‘failure’, the enemy agent had prepared ways of exfiltration and a car prepared for this purpose.

However, this did not help. The SSU detained the spy in an attempt to pass classified information to the enemy.

In Mykolaiv area:

The SSU exposed a head of one of united territorial communities on passing information to the occupiers on the positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces in Voznesensk district.

He has been detained. The investigation is underway.

In Chernihiv region:

The SSU detained a local resident who voluntarily cooperated with the aggressor during the temporary occupation.

The traitor was collecting information about the location of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the suburbs of the city. The enemy used the data obtained from him to carry out rocket attacks.

In Khmelnytskyi:

The SSU exposed a member of the occupiers’ intelligence network. She turned out to be a local who had been recruited by russian special services through the russian social network ‘Odnoklassniki’, banned in Ukraine.

For money, she passed to russian handlers the coordinates of military and other strategic facilities in the region. She also spread calls on the Internet to change the state border of Ukraine and justified russia’s aggression.

The woman received rewards through electronic payment systems banned in Ukraine.

In Cherkasy region:

The SSU located and detained a truck carrying military equipment components on the way to russia.

During the inspection of the car, components for russian aviation and shipbuilding industries were found.

Investigative and operational activities are underway to establish the route of the cargo, organizers and customers.

The seized property was sent to one of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.

Upon all the revealed facts, the SSU is conducting investigations to bring to justice all those involved in crimes against our state.
