The enemy does not stop its attempts to carry out cyber attacks in Ukraine. And while they are usually unsuccessful, each of us needs to remain vigilant about our information security.

This time the occupiers have been sending computer viruses supposedly on behalf of the SSU.

They used popular messengers for sending malware.                                    

In the messages, they ask to download a file with supposed instructions for actions during the war. It is actually malware.

The main targets of the enemy in this case are, first of all, civil servants. The occupiers think that it is possible to collect confidential information through their phones.

Therefore, we urge citizens to pay close attention to such messages.

We remind that the SSU does not send out such messages!

Therefore:

• do not open or download files from unknown senders;
• delete such messages immediately;
• follow the rules of safe behavior on the Internet: https://ssu.gov.ua/en/yak-podbaty-pro-kiberbezpeku
• trust only official sources.
