Today, several online resources of Ukrainian media have been attacked by hackers from Russia. In particular, attackers posted on them symbols banned in Ukraine and used by the occupiers.

The SSU together with the relevant authorities (National Coordination Cybersecurity Centre under the NSDC, State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection and Cyber Police) has conducted a thorough investigation of this fact.

The threat has now been neutralized, and all resources are operating.

No personal data or information stored was affected as a result of the attack. The networks and servers used in the attack have been identified. The hackers’ actions will be qualified in accordance with current legislation taking into account the fact that the hackers supported the country that commits crimes against humanity.

Evidence gathered during the investigation will be used to bring the culprits to justice.
