The Security Service of Ukraine expresses sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased Colonel Roman Zakladnyi, who has dedicated 25 years of his life to serving Ukraine.

Friends and colleagues will remember Roman as an honest officer, a reliable comrade, an experienced and highly professional member of the state security investigators. He investigated dozens of crimes, including against Ukrainian statehood.

Roman Zakladnyi was faithful to the Oath and the honorable duty to defend the Motherland.

The SBU facilitated the National Police investigation to arrest the murderers who must be severely punished.
