SSU special purpose unit receives another PD-2 UAV for reconnaissance behind enemy lines (video)
The SSU Special Operations Centre ‘A’ servicemen at the frontline are enhancing their capabilities and will be able to see the invaders better and hit them with higher precision. These days, the SSU’s special force received another PD-2 drone for reconnaissance in the rear of the enemy’s troops.
With these ‘birds’, the SSU special purpose unit searches for and identifies targets, which are then taken out with long-range and high-precision weapons.
The UAV was provided by Come Back Alive Foundation. The volunteers raised almost UAH 30 mln to purchase the device.
The complex consists of two reconnaissance drones with a controlled flight radius of up to 180 km and powerful zooms for daytime and thermal imaging surveillance.
The kit also includes a mobile station and a ground control station, spare parts and other components.
We are grateful to everyone who joins in and helps our defenders!
Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
