As Ukraine is successfully resisting russia’s attack, information security remains extremely urgent. After all, not being able to win on the battlefield, the aggressor is trying to undermine trust, sow ‘betrayal’ and destabilize Ukrainian society. In particular, a number of supposedly independent Telegram channels, which are actually kremlin-coordinated, are working for these purposes.

Earlier, in the framework of investigating relevant criminal proceedings, the SSU established that such channels were connected to russian special services.

The list of these channels (occasionally updated) includes Legetimnyi [legitimate], Spletnitsa [gossip girl], Cartel, Resident, Nabliudatel [observer], MediaPost, Zhenshchina s Kosoi [woman with a scythe], etc. (see list below).

We urge you not to use these channels because they are financed and coordinated by russia. In no case should you trust them – such platforms spread fakes and manipulations and are part of information warfare against Ukraine.

We also note that, for promotion, some of these channels pay for advertising themselves in Ukrainian communities in social networks. We draw attention of owners and editors of all Ukrainian publications that supporting such resources means aiding the enemy and will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
