On the Defender of Ukraine Day, the Open Championship in Practical Shooting was held at the SBU CSO “A” shooting range.

Twenty teams from different Ukrainian law enforcement agencies took part in the competition.

This sport is popular in special task units all around the world. Thus, practical shooting, including variable target shooting, obstacle shooting, sudden appearance and disappearance of target fire, as well as shooting indoors, helps to simulate and work out the most typical cases of using firearms in real conditions.

During the competition, the judges drew attention to the athletes’ exercising speed and the number of target hits.

As a result of intense struggle, the NABU team won “gold”, while the SBU CSO “A” won “silver” and “bronze” medals.

The championship participants noted the high level of competitions orhanization and its importance in improving of the professional skills.
