In the city of Kyiv, the SBU exposed a company director on offering a bribe to an SBU officer.

The businessman offered to give bribes on a permanent basis.
For this, the officer had to assist in the international shipment registration in the area of activity of Kyiv customs at a cut prices and without customs clearance. The officer immediately reported the “offer” to his command.

The law enforcement detained the offender on giving the first bribe.

The investigation is ongoing upon the fact of giving a bribe. The issue of serving the offender a notice of suspicion and choosing a type of detention is being resolved.

The operation was conducted jointly with the Main National Police Investigation Department under the supervision of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the Military and Defense Sphere of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
