SBU blocks over 60 cyberattacks in July 2021

In July 2021, specialists of the SBU Cyber ​​Security Situation Center responded and neutralized 65 cyberattacks on information systems of public authorities. SSU officers analyzed more than 31,000 security incidents.

Note:

The main types of detected cyber threats are:

  • connection to C&C Servers;
  • attempts to gain unauthorized access (Brute Force Attack);
  • Web App Attacks;
  • malware.

We recall that the Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM) operates on the basis of the SBU Cyber ​​Security Situation Center, which provides real-time analysis of security alerts.

Cyber specialists systematically analyze potential security incidents. It allows to quickly detect, respond to and prevent cyber threats in the national cyberspace.
